    How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

     

    The Distribution Strategy Manager at Delta Vacations (DLV) will hold a critical role in supporting the strategy, development and implementation of the DLV distribution strategy. This role will support a portfolio of several high impact land and air distribution initiatives with coordination across the DLV and Delta enterprise.

     

    A key focus of this role is developing DLV’s long term distribution roadmap, ensuring alignment with business objectives, facilitating collaboration, and fostering partnerships across all distribution channels

    WHAT ELSE WILL YOU BE DOING (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

    + Drive DLV’s transition to a modernized infrastructure ensuring alignment with business objectives, and fostering cross-functional alignment across multiple distribution channels and departments.

    + Support the innovation and execution of DLV’s distribution product/technical roadmap, including the interdependencies between the land and air products, ensuring alignment with business goals.

    + Manage both division specific initiatives as well as cross-divisional needs for appropriate engagement for prioritization and IT technical roadmap alignment from ideation to production.

    + Conduct market analysis to identify relevant technology trends, competitor solutions, and industry best practices.

    + Evaluate tech platforms and provide recommendations on tech adoption strategies and integration into existing systems and processes.

    + Compare different technology options based on performance metrics and industry standards and analyze the technical feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and implementation challenges of potential technology solutions.

    + Present key stakeholders, including leadership teams, with comprehensive reports detailing findings, recommendations, and potential risks associated with technology evaluations.

    + Identify and implement process improvements to enhance customer booking experience through improved distribution efficiency.

    + Provide coaching and mentoring product owners, while also collaborating with various stakeholders, including business leaders, development teams and customers.

    + Serve as key contributor and liaison to Delta Vacations IT to communicate project interdependence and overall technology strategy.

    This full-time position is located at Delta Vacations Headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.     SALARY

    64,178 – 110,562 annually

    WORK ENVIRONMENT

    Delta Vacations Corporate Headquarters, Atlanta, Georgia

    POSITION TYPE/STANDARD SCHEDULE

    Full-Time, Monday through Friday; 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend may be required as job duties demand.

    TRAVEL

    Domestic travel may be required to fulfill assigned responsibilities.

    What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

    + Bachelor’s degree from four-year college or university; or equivalent work experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience

    + Three years of management/supervisor role experience required

    + Strong PC skills including MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint required

    + Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data

    + Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles

    + Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency

    + Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States
