As the Danaher Business System Leader, also recognized as the Continuous Improvement Leader, you play a pivotal role in driving continuous improvement. Your dedication to successfully implementing the Danaher Business System empowers positive change. Collaborating closely with the Plant Manager, you champion the implementation of DBS Fundamentals and Lean methodologies at Gemba, generating advancements in safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Your impactful leadership fuels progress and fosters an environment of excellence.
This position is integral to the Global Operations team and will be located ON-SITE in Timonium, MD.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
+ Responsible for developing the site’s DBS Strategy and Vision as a change facilitator. Collaborate with other site DBSLs and operation leadership to transform and support a continuous improvement culture, driving positive organizational change.
+ Facilitate and conduct kaizens, problem-solving, and boot camps in DBS Fundamentals and DBS Lean tools. By managing the kaizen funnel tool and certified practitioner funnel to strengthen connections between customer-facing metrics and continuous process improvement efforts.
+ Influence all levels of the organization, including Senior Leaders, Functional Leaders, project Managers, and practitioners, using effective coaching and mentoring skills to foster a supportive environment for growth and improvement.
+ Grow the DBS muscle by establishing a team of certified practitioners in DBS and driving Lean Conversion across the operations with our organizational partners.
The essential requirements of the job include:
+ Bachelor of Science Degree in Science or Engineering related subject areas and 5-10 years of business/operations management or manufacturing experience, including mastery of an array of Lean Tools and DBS Fundamentals for over 5 years, while exhibiting confidence in your ability to drive success.
+ Hands-on Gemba experience driving kaizen facilitation and leadership using DBS and lean tools. (Visual Daily Management, Problem Solving Process, Value Stream Mapping, Dynamic Kanban, Lean Conversion, Standard Work, 5S, TPM, SMED, etc.)
+ Strong analytical skills, MS Excel proficiency, SAP knowledge, interpersonal, managerial, and facilitation skills, including public speaking and moderating.

The salary range for this role is $106,500.00-$125,000.00 USD. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting.
Besides salary, this job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
We offer comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
