As a Product Support Engineer (PSE), you will be a key technical resource supporting Philips’ Patient Monitoring platforms—specifically PIIC iX and VAS solutions. This role is central to improving product reliability, enabling successful product introductions, and enhancing customer satisfaction.
Your role:
+ Serve as the global Level 3 technical support lead for PIIC iX and VAS solutions, overseeing device, software, and infrastructure components.
+ Own service communication between the Business Unit and Field Service teams, ensuring alignment on escalations, updates, and technical resolutions.
+ Develop and deliver support strategies, training programs, and documentation to enhance field readiness and service quality.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams on New Product Introductions (NPI), design modifications, and supportability requirements.
+ Analyze product performance, field feedback, and escalations to drive continuous improvement and ensure operational readiness for global deployments.
You're the right fit if:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field, with a Biomedical or Hospital IT background and deep knowledge of healthcare connectivity environments.
+ A minimum of 5+ years of broad technical expertise across Philips PIIC iX, VAS, and associated healthcare informatics platforms.
+ Proven ability in diagnostics and troubleshooting across hardware, software, and networking layers, ensuring system reliability and uptime.
+ Hands-on experience with SQL Server, Windows Server, Active Directory, VMware, Citrix, relational databases, and scripting tools; 5+ years of experience with HL7, HIF, MDIP, and TCP/IP infrastructure services.
+ Industry certifications such as CCNA, CWNA, CWTS, or equivalent, and familiarity with global field service operations and deployment models.

How we work together
We believe that we are better together than apart. For our office-based teams, this means working in-person at least 3 days per week. Onsite roles require full-time presence in the company’s facilities. Field roles are most effectively done outside of the company’s main facilities, generally at the customers’ or suppliers’ locations.

Philips Transparency Details
The pay range for this position in (Cambridge, MA or Bothell, WA) is
$110,880 to $177,408.00.
The pay range for this position in (New Kensington, PA) is $99,000 to $158,000.00
The actual base pay offered may vary within the posted ranges depending on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal equity.
In addition, other compensation, such as an annual incentive bonus, sales commission or long-term incentives may be offered. Employees are eligible to participate in our comprehensive Philips Total Rewards benefits program, which includes a generous PTO, 401k (up to 7% match), HSA (with company contribution), stock purchase plan, education reimbursement and much more. At Philips, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top end of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each case.
