Our client, a community-focused organization dedicated to providing reliable transportation services, is seeking a Transportation Manager to join their team. As a Transportation Manager, you will be part of the Transportation Department supporting operational excellence and community safety. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills, excellent organizational abilities, and effective communication skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

**Location:** Anderson, SC

**Pay Range:** $59000 - $60000

Shift:

What's the Job?

+ Oversee all transportation operations within Anderson County, ensuring seamless service delivery across a six-day week.

+ Develop and manage efficient route schedules that maximize timeliness and resource utilization.

+ Supervise and mentor drivers, fostering a safety-oriented culture and ensuring adherence to all safety and transportation regulations.

+ Maintain accurate vehicle maintenance records, service schedules, and departmental documentation.

+ Coordinate staffing needs, including managing on-call coverage and ensuring adequate personnel are scheduled for all shifts.

What's Needed?

+ Bachelor’s degree in Transportation, Business Administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

+ Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in transportation or a similar role.

+ Valid South Carolina Driver’s License with a clean driving record.

+ Completion of agency-mandated training (PASS, Defensive Driving) within one month of hire.

+ First aid certification within one year of employment.
