Welcome to Parker Industrial Process Filtration
At Parker’s Industrial Process Filtration Division, we collaborate with our customers to offer filtration solutions for complex contaminant management issues. Our aim is to enhance product quality and safeguard critical equipment against maintenance issues and downtime.
The Industrial Process Filtration Division directly supports North America. In addition, IPF works with our global Parker Hannifin regional entities to leverage IPF products across the globe.
The purpose of this position is to provide customer service support such as: order processing, tracking order status, work within designated CRM, telephone communications and internal communications with other departments. Responsible for the direction and oversight of assigned customer accounts. Interprets customer requests, monitors performance and delivery, investigates complaints.

RESPONSIBILITIES The responsibilities described here are representative of those tasks an employee performs to successfully complete the essential functions of this job; however, this is not a comprehensive listing of all tasks that may be assigned or required. • Analyze Backlog (Discover Report) and schedule order shipments.
• Communicate with internal and external customers by telephone and e-mail to provide lead-time, pricing, or investigate issues; and to correct errors in accounts.
• Process Sales Orders per established guidelines; coordinating with Accounting for credit matters, Aftermarket Service Specialist for pricing, and Production Planning, as necessary.
• Respond expeditiously to Request for Quote (RFQ) with standard prices and terms.
• Process Material Return Request per established guidelines.
• Document and/or refer Customer Complaints to the appropriate internal department.
• Elicit sufficient facts and detail to clarify indefinite or obscurely stated requests.
• Use all available sources to provide information being requested.
• Refer complex inquiries to appropriate specialist for assistance.
• Ensure compliance with Sales Policies, ISO Procedures or Work Instructions and IPF Division Policies and Procedures.
• Maintain a customer name and address data base.
• Provide timely feedback/resolution to the customer regarding product failures or customer concerns.
• Collaborate with shipping and traffic to ensure on time shipments.
• Maintain ability to backup co-workers.
• Complete special projects, as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS

The minimum qualifications required include, but may not be limited to, the following:
• Inside sales experience, preferred.
• ERP Order Management, Projects and Commercial Terms experience highly preferred.
• Intermediate level proficiency with Microsoft Office software.
• Customer service experience and people, time management and organizational skills, required.
• Familiarity with corporate credit and sales policies, a plus.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to handle and prioritize multiple projects.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to read and interpret documents such as work instructions, safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form. EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
• High School Diploma and/or GED.
• Two years of college in Business Management or related field, preferred.
• Related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience. The duties of this job are primarily performed in climate-controlled temperature office environments, with low to moderate noise levels and fluorescent, incandescent and/or natural lighting.
