    Our client, **in Waverly,** a growing leader in the seed production industry, is seeking **a Production Technicians** to join their team **.** The ideal candidate will be **self-motivated** , **detail-oriented** , and **eager to learn seed quality operations** . This role is perfect for someone who enjoys hands-on work and contributing to agricultural innovation.

     

    Job Title: Production Worker Agricultural

     

    Pay range: 18.00

     

    What is the job?

     

    + **Operating & maintaining equipment used in seed drying, sizing, and conditioning.**

    + **Accurately logging & recording data in daily operations.**

    + Processing seed through different size screens.

    + **Notating of the size and shape uniformity, color, any abnormality including the evidence of potential seed or non-seed contamination, and integrity within a particular coated or non-coated seed product.**

    + Following written/verbal instructions for highest standards of seed production quality.

    + **Perform a detailed inspection of the seed order to identify potential seed lot abnormalities.**

    + Picking orders of seed from our customer seed inventory and then portioning the seed order into appropriate sized batches.

    + Application of particular inert materials to make seeds that are small and irregular in shape amenable to plating with conventional planting equipment.

    + Preparation of the various inert materials, chemistry and / or beneficial microbes for seed coating application.

     

    What you'll bring to the job?

     

    + **High school or equivalent**

    + **Driver's license required**

    + **Self-starter**

    + **Ability to lift 60 lbs**

    + **Good math and computer skills**

    + Dependable

     

    What's in it for you?

     

    + **Wages: $18/hr - Full time**

    + **Shift: 1st - 7 am to 3:45 pm Monday through Friday (evenings & weekends required during busy season).**
