    Our client is looking for a Field Service Technician for a 2-month contract in Georgetown, DE 19947.

     

    Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the US on a full-time basis now and in the future.

    Contract Duration: 2 months

    Required Skills & Experience

    + 3 + years of experience and strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and cable installation.Experience with restaurant technologies.

    + CompTIA A+ and Network+ preferred (or 5+ years of relevant experience)

    + Able to lift up to 50 lbs and use a ladder (up to 10 ft reach)

    + General contractor skills (drill usage, etc.). Light contractor work such as drilling through and mounting hardware into walls and countertops.

    + Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software, networking, and cable installation.

    + Experience with restaurant technologies.

     

    What You Will Be Doing

    Technical Support & Troubleshooting

    + Resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.

    + Provide on-site support for restaurant staff.

    Installation & Maintenance

    + Hardware and software installation and configuration.

    + Perform quarterly preventative maintenance (some after-hours required)

    Networking & Cable Management

    + Terminate, test, and replace network cables (Cat5/Cat6/Cat7)

    + Organize and manage cable layouts for optimal performance.

    Training & Documentation

    + Train restaurant staff on new systems.

    + Maintain accurate records of support requests and configurations.

    Asset & Inventory Management

    + Track hardware, software licenses, and inventory levels.

    + Assist with rollout and upgrade projects.

    Security & Infrastructure

    + Maintain a secure and efficient network infrastructure.

    + Support online ordering and delivery platforms.
