    TransAction seeks a Bus Washer to join our growing team at our Woburn, MA location!

     

    The Bus Washer is responsible for efficient cleaning process of the interior and exterior of bus equipment as well as for light general maintenance.

    Major Responsibilities

    Report to work mentally and physically fit to perform safely, responsibly, productively, and reliably.

     

    Adhere to all TransAction Corporate Shuttles policies and procedures

     

    Model a caring, positive, respectful character when carrying out duties

     

    Practice safe work habits

     

    Maintain cooperative working relationships through the use of courtesy and respect for others

     

    Carry out directions as provided

     

    Ensure all vehicles meet TransAction standards of cleanliness

     

    Report any observed mechanical issues with vehicles

     

    Properly select and apply cleaning agents appropriate to the task

     

    Clean bus exterior/interior with equipment provided. To include:

     

    -Scrubbing

     

    -Washing with water and cleaning agents

     

    -Sweeping

     

    -Waxing

     

    -Buffing

     

    Restock supplies on the bus, including garbage bags

     

    Refill tire spray and wash soap

     

    Track vehicle numbers on whiteboard and sheet in office

     

    Remain aware of schedule of which buses need to be cleaned and which are complete

     

    Perform light garage maintenance as requested

     

    Maintain a clean work environment

     

    -Empty trash barrels-Pick up trash-Sweep area

     

    Perform periodic leaf clean up outside office building

     

    Lifting of object of 15 lbs. or more

     

    Perform physical labor that includes: lifting, pulling, bending, twisting, stooping, reaching, stretching, and working for long periods standing or walking, climbing up and down steps

     

    Work efficiently with and without direct supervision

     

    Seek out all opportunities for process improvements

     

    Perform other duties as assigned

     

    Work Schedule*Monday - Friday, 6:00am - 2:00pm

     

    Compensation

     

    $20 per hour plus benefits
