Description
We are looking for a process-oriented manager to drive commercial operations and partnerships supporting Amazon’s Live Sports SVOD, Short Form and FAST (AVOD) business. The Sports Partnerships Team within Prime Video brings a growing selection of live sports content to Amazon customers around the world, including NFL Thursday Night Football, NBA and NHL for Prime members, NBA League Pass and MLB.tv through Prime Video Channels (PVC), and a growing selection of Sports AVOD partners.
The ideal candidate has strong attention to detail and will build operational efficiencies. In this role, you will work across different teams internally and externally to ensure growth and success across our partners, including inventing and simplifying our processes as we continue to scale our SVOD and AVOD business. We are looking for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and uses problem solving skills to overcome a variety of challenges. In addition, this individual should have the ability to clearly and concisely communicate thoughts and ideas, both written and verbally, and be comfortable working across a variety of cross-functional stakeholders.
Key job responsibilities
- Own day to day setup and onboarding of new partners.
- Manage business reporting to meet both internal and external requirements.
- Liaise with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, marketing, etc.) to identify new levers to drive incremental growth
- Evaluate potential partners to ensure optimal selection and source new potential deals
- Drive process improvement efforts and work to identify gaps/inefficiencies in internal workflows and standardize processes to make workflows more efficient.
- Support the Content Acquisition Team in deal negotiations to drive operational improvements.
- Collaborate across pan-regional sports initiatives across Amazon.
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of account management, business development, content licensing or finance experience
- Knowledge of MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Google docs and sheets
- Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)
- Experience leading process improvement, systems development, and project management
- Ability to work across cross-functional teams, communicate with colleagues in both business and technical roles, and develop processes that drives scale.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in an account management, licensing or business development role
- Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations
- - Experience and/or deep interest in sports business or AVOD properties.

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $78,200/year in our lowest geographic market up to $167,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
