    Job Title: Steel Construction Project ManagerJob Description

     

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Manager to oversee steel construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves coordinating teams, managing budgets, and ensuring timely delivery of materials and services while maintaining high standards of safety and quality.

    Responsibilities

    + Develop, implement, and monitor construction budgets.

    + Coordinate schedules for material procurement, equipment delivery, and installation.

    + Liaise with detailers, joist and deck suppliers, and erection crews to ensure seamless project execution.

    + Review and submit shop drawings and submittals for approval.

    + Manage client relationships and ensure expectations are met or exceeded.

    + Conduct site visits and attend on-site meetings to monitor progress and resolve issues.

    + Communicate effectively with general contractors, architects, engineers, and owners.

    + Negotiate revisions and changes to the original scope of work as needed.

    Required Skills & Experience

    + 2–5 years of project management experience in steel construction.

    + Strong background in commercial construction and construction management.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.

    + Familiarity with OSHA regulations and safety standards.

    + Ability to read and interpret steel and architectural drawings.

    + Capable of managing multiple projects at various stages of development.

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, or a related field.

    + Excellent organizational and communication skills.

    + Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $57.00 - $62.50/hr.
