Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Hardware Engineer for a temporary assignment supporting innovative hardware projects. This role is designed for contingent workers and independent contractors and is not a full-time employment opportunity. The Hardware Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test hardware components for next-generation products.

+ Design, develop, and validate hardware components and systems.

+ Collaborate with engineering, product, and manufacturing teams to ensure project milestones are met.

+ Conduct troubleshooting, debugging, and root cause analysis of hardware issues.

+ Prepare technical documentation and reports as required.

+ Support prototype development and testing activities.

+ Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.

MUST HAVES:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field

+ 1–2 years of experience in hardware design and development

+ Proficiency with CAD tools and hardware simulation software

+ Basic knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, and electronic equipment

+ Knowledge of computer hardware/software including applications and programming

+ Familiarity with display optical characterization and troubleshooting

+ Experience with optical metrology, data analysis, and assembling test jigs

+ Prior work developing customized test stations

+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities

+ Effective team collaboration skills

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $75.00/hr.
