Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional engineer to join our team as a Civil Project Manager. This role is pivotal in expanding our market presence in Colorado, particularly within the transportation and municipal engineering sectors. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management and business development, with a proven track record of building successful client relationships and driving growth.
Responsibilities
+ Lead efforts to win new work and increase market share in Colorado.
+ Manage and oversee various engineering projects within the transportation and municipal sectors.
+ Build and maintain a strong network of contacts for business development.
+ Develop and grow a team, contributing to the overall expansion in Colorado.
+ Establish a new office in Denver or expand the existing presence in Fort Collins.
+ Collaborate with the Cheyenne office, involving occasional travel to support projects.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum of 6 years of experience in civil engineering and project management.
+ Proficiency in Civil 3D software.
+ Experience in managing transportation projects or engineering projects for municipalities.
+ Professional Engineer (PE) license.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Strong business development skills with the ability to build a book of business.
+ Experience in municipal engineering and transportation sectors.
+ Visionary leadership skills to grow a team and establish a market presence.
Work Environment
This position offers a hybrid work environment initially, with flexibility in working locations between Denver and Fort Collins. The role involves occasional travel to the Cheyenne office, with travel expenses covered. As the team expands, the candidate will be expected to work more in-office alongside their team, fostering a collaborative and innovative work culture. Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $62.50 - $76.92/hr.
