Job Title: Site Energy Marshall
Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Site Energy Marshall to join our team and oversee energy management and optimization at our Omaha site. With 5-7 years of experience, the ideal candidate will have a strong experience in energy systems, safety protocols, and regulatory compliance. Your role will involve ensuring that all energy-related activities are conducted efficiently, safely, and in accordance with company standards and local regulations.
Responsibilities
+ Monitor and manage energy consumption across the site, identifying areas for improvement and implementing energy-saving initiatives.
+ Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal energy regulations and standards. Prepare and maintain documentation for audits and inspections.
+ Implement and enforce safety protocols related to energy use and equipment. Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions for site personnel.
+ Analyze energy usage data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for cost savings. Prepare and present reports to management.
+ Collaborate with maintenance teams to ensure that energy systems and equipment are maintained in optimal working condition.
+ Support the development and implementation of sustainability initiatives and energy-efficient practices.
+ Act as the point of contact for energy-related emergencies. Develop and implement response plans to address and mitigate potential issues.
+ Work with internal and external stakeholders to promote energy awareness and advocate for best practices.
Essential Skills
+ 5-7 years of experience in energy management, environmental engineering, or a related field. Experience in a supervisory or managerial role is preferred.
+ Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Energy Management, Engineering, or a related field.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
+ Proficiency in energy management software and tools.
+ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
+ In-depth understanding of energy systems, safety regulations, and sustainability practices.
+ Familiarity with local energy codes and regulations in Nebraska.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Energy Manager (CEM)) are a plus.
+ Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
+ Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Work Environment
The position is based in our Mesa office, operating during standard construction hours from 5:00 AM to 1:30 PM. The work environment is supportive, with potential opportunities for growth. The role involves collaboration with diverse teams and stakeholders, promoting a culture of energy awareness and sustainability.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Phoenix, Arizona
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $50.00/hr.
