Job Title: Quality Engineering Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Quality Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role is critical in ensuring our products meet rigorous quality standards and exceed customer expectations. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in manufacturing and a passion for continuous improvement. This role works four 10-hour shifts, Monday-Thursday.
Responsibilities
+ Perform in-process and final inspections of product components and assemblies.
+ Use precision measuring tools, such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges, to verify product specifications.
+ Document and report non-conformances; assist in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
+ Maintain and calibrate inspection equipment.
+ Collaborate with production, engineering, and quality teams to uphold ISO and internal standards.
+ Support audits and quality system improvements.
+ Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
Qualifications
+ Minimum 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Strong understanding of quality control principles and inspection techniques.
+ Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office and quality documentation systems.
+ Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
+ Basic math and measurement experience.
+ Blueprint reading skills with the ability to ensure accurate interpretation.
+ Problem-solving and diagnostic capabilities.
+ Ability to work collaboratively with other departments to reduce waste.
+ CMM experience is a plus
Work Environment
This position is based in a manufacturing plant. The role offers significant opportunities for growth and development, as you will be part of a quality team dedicated to reducing waste costs and enhancing production quality.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.
