Job Title: API Product Manager
Job Description
We are seeking a SR. API Product Manager to lead the adoption of the iTwin Platform by first-party products, develop strategy and roadmaps, and focus on community adoption. The role will center on iTwin Platform APIs, developer experience, and platform-to-platform integrations. Our platform empowers software developers to build digital twin experiences with open source and open standards, impacting a wide range of industries from construction to sports.
Responsibilities
+ Manage product strategy, roadmap, and execution for a section of the iTwin Platform, supporting first-party platform adoption.
+ Coordinate product strategy, integrations, development, and business relationships at the intersection of technology, people, and business.
+ Collaborate with engineering teams to design, develop, and launch secure, scalable APIs.
+ Analyze market trends through research, customer feedback, and market input to enhance iTwin Platform APIs, improve developer experience, and reduce entry barriers.
+ Facilitate alignment among diverse inputs to converge on decisions that benefit the broader community.
+ Coordinate with first- and third-party customers to create opportunities that expand the ecosystem and business.
Essential Skills
+ 8+ years of product management experience in technical software projects within developer platforms or infrastructure software.
+ Experience with cloud APIs for developers and prior experience as a software developer is a plus.
+ Ability to integrate product strategy, customer input, and market feedback into a detailed, executable plan.
+ Proficiency in analyzing user data, business intelligence, and usage analytics to generate insights for product improvement.
+ Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with executive leadership and engineers.
+ A technical education, such as a degree in computer science, or equivalent proven work experience.

+ Experience with REST and SOAP APIs.
+ Strong organizational and leadership skills.
+ Exceptional decision-making and project management abilities.
+ Occasional travel and time zone management required as part of a global team.
+ Sitting or standing at will while performing work on a computer.
Work Environment
This position offers a hybrid work model with two days a week onsite, and the option to work fully remote. The role requires occasional travel and management across different time zones as part of a global team.
Job Type & Location
This is a Permanent position based out of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $160000.00 - $180000.00/yr.
The total comp for both roles is between $160,000 - $180,000. Total comp at Bentley includes Base + OTI (on-target incentive). This role is at a split of 85/15. 85% base salary & !5% OTI. OTI is paid in quarterly payments and is based on individual performance.
