Job Title: Project Manager - Medical Device ManufacturingJob Description
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead and execute projects focused on implementing manufacturing strategies for the transfer and assessment of products related to venous thromboembolism clot removal. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring that all design transfer activities are completed on time, within scope, quality, and budget.
Responsibilities
+ Accountable for all design transfer activities and delivering the product on time, in scope, in quality, and on budget.
+ Manage project and product costs while proactively identifying and mitigating project risks.
+ Activate and motivate the project team to drive project success and achieve goals on time.
+ Collaborate closely with R&D, production, and suppliers to understand end-customer needs and ensure successful project implementation.
+ Innovate and improve the current project management tools and the PMO governance.
+ Ensure stakeholder alignment, resource prioritization, and employee performance.
+ Manage escalation of workflow issues and review deliverables.
+ Plan, monitor, and manage internal projects from initiation through completion.
+ Secure required resources and use formal processes and tools to manage resources, budgets, risks, and changes.
+ Manage projects to ensure on-time completion according to specifications and within budgeted costs.
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
+ 6-8+ years of project management experience
+ PMP or equivalent certification preferred
+ Experience in medical devices
+ Proficiency in project management, engineering, change order, stakeholder alignment, and resource prioritization
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with design transfer, change control, and prioritization of ECO's and ECR's
+ Strong analytical skills and evaluative judgement
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
+ Professional mastery of a specialized field of expertise
Work Environment
This role requires onsite presence 5 days per week. Enjoy benefits such as 2 weeks of PTO and 10 paid holidays. The position is an individual contributor role that requires professional knowledge gained through substantial applicable work experience, supplementing formal education.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract position based out of Irvine, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $65.00 - $75.00/hr.
