    Quality Manager | Lead Change in a Fast-Paced Manufacturing Environment

     

    Are you a quality-driven professional who thrives in fast-paced manufacturing? Join an established and growing industrial manufacturer in the **Auburn Maine Metro Area** , as our next **Quality Manager** —a strategic, hands-on leader responsible for driving continuous improvement, ensuring customer satisfaction, and shaping operational excellence.

     

    You'll work directly with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to build robust quality systems, lead process improvements, and make a real impact across the organization.

     

    Yearly Salary: $100k-$140k

    What You’ll Do:

    + **Lead quality activities across the full product lifecycle—from design to production**

    + **Develop and maintain ISO-compliant Quality Management Systems (QMS)**

    + **Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions (8D, 5 Whys, etc.)**

    + **Train teams in quality tools, lean methods, and continuous improvement**

    + **Guide cross-functional projects to improve processes, reduce defects, and boost efficiency**

    + **Partner with engineering and supply chain teams to ensure quality standards are met**

    + **Support pilot builds and provide feedback to improve product manufacturability**

    + **Travel requirement: <10%**

    Qualifications:

    Must-Haves:

    + **Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field**

    + **5+ years in Quality, Engineering, or CI within manufacturing**

    + **Experience with ISO 9001 or similar standards**

    + **Strong analytical and communication skills**

    + **Ability to lead teams and influence across functions**

    + **Familiarity with ERP and quality systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)**

    Nice-to-Haves:

    + **Automotive manufacturing experience**

    + **ISO 13485 experience**
