Adecco is seeking an experienced **Instructional Design Consultant** to support the development of learner-facing test preparation materials for the TOEFL iBT exam. This is a remote, full-time contract position through April 30, 2026, with the possibility of extension.
**Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
**Pay:** $45/hour
**Location:** Remote
Role Overview:
The consultant will work under the direction of the Global Mobility Senior Manager, AI Implementation, collaborating with the TOEFL test prep team to design, revise, and deliver high-quality instructional content that aligns with TOEFL iBT test specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Design and develop TOEFL iBT test preparation materials across multiple proficiency levels
+ Review and revise instructional content to ensure clarity, quality, and alignment with test specifications
+ Collaborate with subject matter experts, editors, and content developers to maintain consistency and instructional integrity
+ Use generative AI tools and large language models (LLMs) to support and enhance content development
+ Work within non-traditional instructional design environments, such as Microsoft Word and platforms like e2
+ Meet project deadlines and quality expectations while adhering to established standards
+ Support additional instructional design projects as assigned
+ Comply with company policies, including data and information security protocols
Required Qualifications:
+ Demonstrated experience in instructional design, particularly in education or test preparation
+ Experience using LLMs and generative AI tools for content development
+ Ability to revise and enhance draft content for clarity, engagement, and effectiveness
+ Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote setting
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience with English language learners and/or standardized test preparation (e.g., TOEFL)
+ Familiarity with the TOEFL iBT test structure and content
+ Experience working within collaborative content development platforms
**Pay Details:** $45.00 per hour
