HVAC Dispatcher & Project Coordinator JD
Temp to Hire
M-F, 7:00am - 3:00pm
Pay: $20-25/hr DOE
Position Summary:
The HVAC Dispatcher and Project Coordinator with strong administrative skills and customer-focused attitude. This role involves managing various tasks, providing support to staff, and ensuring smooth operations within the office environment. This role plays a key part in maintaining customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Schedule and dispatch HVAC technicians for service, maintenance, and installation jobs
+ Coordinate daily work schedules, monitor job progress, and adjust assignments as needed
+ Communicate job details, customer concerns, and special instructions to field technicians
+ Respond to customer calls and service requests, gathering detailed information to schedule appropriately
+ Use dispatching and field service software to assign jobs and track technician activity
+ Monitor technician locations and job statuses throughout the day
+ Provide exceptional customer service when answering phones or following up on service calls
+ Maintain accurate records of service calls, work performed, and technician notes
+ Collaborate with the service manager and parts department to ensure job readiness
+ Handle emergency service requests efficiently and calmly
+ Support billing by entering accurate job and time information into the system
+ Maintain confidentiality of customer and company information
Qualifications:
Required:
+ High school diploma or GED
+ 1–3 years of dispatching, scheduling, or customer service experience (preferably in HVAC, plumbing, or similar trades)
+ Strong organizational and multitasking skills
+ Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
+ Ability to stay calm under pressure and adapt to changing priorities
+ Project coordinator experience preferred
+ Strong attention to detail and follow-through
**Pay Details:** $20.00 to $25.00 per hour
