    We’re looking for a **Mechanical or Industrial Engineering Intern** to join our team in **Spring and/or Summer 2026** . This **paid internship** offers hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment near Auburn, Maine.

     

    You’ll work directly with experienced engineers on active projects that make a real impact. Whether you're helping streamline a production line or modeling a new mechanical component, you'll be gaining skills that employers value—and that you can add to your resume right away.

    Internship Schedule

    + Monday to Friday

    + Flexible start and end dates for Spring and/or Summer

    + **Full-time (8:00 AM–5:00 PM)** or **part-time** hours to accommodate class schedules

    What You’ll Do

    + Assist with the design and development of mechanical systems and components

    + Participate in process improvement projects to increase efficiency and reduce waste

    + Analyze production and performance data to support decision-making

    + Collaborate with engineers and cross-functional teams

    + Help document procedures, findings, and project updates

    What We’re Looking For

    + Currently pursuing a **Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field** (Junior or Senior standing preferred)

    + Familiarity with CAD software such as **SolidWorks** or **AutoCAD** is a plus

    + Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

    + Eagerness to learn, contribute, and collaborate in a team environment

    **Pay Details:** $22.00 to $26.00 per hour
