Job Title: Receptionist – Law Firm
Pay: $20-22/hr
Hours: 9:00am – 3:00pm
Job Summary:
We are seeking a professional, organized, and detail-oriented **Receptionist** . The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a legal or professional services setting and must be a **commissioned Notary Public** . This position serves as the first point of contact for clients and visitors and provides essential administrative support to attorneys and staff.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Greet and assist clients, visitors, and vendors in a professional and courteous manner
+ Answer and direct incoming phone calls using a multi-line system
+ Schedule appointments and manage conference room calendars
+ Receive, sort, and distribute incoming mail and packages
+ Maintain a neat and organized front desk and reception area
+ Perform notarial acts (e.g., notarizing legal documents) as needed
+ Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
+ Assist with general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry
+ Coordinate with office vendors and service providers
+ Provide backup support to legal staff as needed
Qualifications:
+ High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred
+ Prior receptionist or administrative experience in a law firm or professional setting preferred
+ **Must be a commissioned Notary Public** (or eligible and willing to become commissioned upon hire)
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)
+ Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
+ Professional appearance and demeanor
+ Ability to work independently and as part of a team
**Pay Details:** $20.00 to $22.00 per hour
