Job Title: Senior Project Manager – ConstructionJob Description
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Project Manager to lead and manage complex construction projects, ensuring successful contract execution, scope management, and subcontractor coordination. This role involves facilitating key meetings, enforcing job site policies, and mentoring junior project staff.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct thorough contract reviews to ensure alignment with project goals
+ Oversee scope of work and manage deliverables across all phases
+ Identify, evaluate, and select subcontractors for each project
+ Lead internal and external meetings, including foreman and municipal coordination
+ Enforce company policies and safety standards on job sites
+ Mentor and guide assistant project managers to support team development
Essential Skills
+ Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience
+ 10+ years of project management experience with projects exceeding $5 million
+ Proficiency in Procore or similar project management platforms
+ Strong capabilities in document control, design coordination, and cost estimation
Additional Qualifications
+ Experience with joint venture billing
+ Proven success managing projects over $15 million
Work Environment
This position is based on active project sites and office locations, with a current focus on school construction projects requiring consistent on-site presence in Bristol, CT for the next 2+ years. The company offers a collaborative culture with long-term employee retention, flexible leadership access, and a fully insured take-home vehicle. The project team includes approximately 50 staff members across field and office roles, with two superintendents supporting the Senior Project Manager on site.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $62.50/hr.
