    Job Title: Hardware EngineerJob Description

     

    We are seeking an experienced Hardware Engineer to lead the testing and debugging of new network products. The primary focus of this role is on testing and bring-up activities, with some design responsibilities. You will be responsible for creating, enhancing, and executing unit tests and ensuring the product meets all necessary requirements.

    Responsibilities

    + Drive the testing and debugging of new network products.

    + Create and enhance unit test and bring-up plans.

    + Execute unit tests to ensure product requirements are met.

    + Perform board bring-up and PCB testing.

    + Engage in some hardware design activities.

    Essential Skills

    + Strong experience in unit testing and bringing up networking products or similar PCBs.

    + Experience in designing high-speed boards of 40gs or higher.

    + Proficiency with Cadence Allegro for schematic capture.

    + Experience with debugging and testing.

    + Knowledge of Python, control plane, and data plane.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience writing test automation scripts in Python is a huge plus.

    Work Environment

    This position requires onsite work 5 days per week. There is flexibility regarding arrival and departure times, but it is essential to be present onsite throughout the week. You will be working with cutting-edge networking products and collaborating with some of the best engineers in the industry.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of San Jose, California.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $51.00/hr.
