Description

A growing law firm in West Los Angeles is seeking a Transactional Attorney to join their team on a contract-to-hire or long-term contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with a strong background in business or real estate transactions to work directly with clients and gain hands-on experience in a collaborative team environment.

The firm handles a wide range of transactional matters, including real estate, corporate governance, contract drafting and negotiations, and general business advisory work. This role offers hybrid flexibility (2–3 days onsite in West LA, remainder remote).

Key Responsibilities:

+ Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of agreements (commercial leases, vendor agreements, service contracts, NDAs, etc.).

+ Advise clients on corporate governance, entity formation, and compliance matters.

+ Support M& A, real estate, or financing transactions from LOI through closing.

+ Conduct legal research and provide strategic business counsel.

+ Collaborate with firm partners and clients to advance deal flow and mitigate legal risks.

Requirements

Qualifications:

+ Active California Bar license (in good standing).

+ 3+ years of transactional legal experience (real estate, corporate, or general commercial contracts preferred).

+ Strong contract drafting and negotiation skills.

+ Ability to manage multiple deals and deadlines simultaneously.

+ Excellent communication and client service skills.
