Looking to grow your accounting career? Robert Half is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Staff Accountant to support our clients in managing critical financial operations. As a Staff Accountant, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial statements, account reconciliations, and month-end closings. Your role is pivotal in maintaining compliance and contributing to financial reporting processes.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including journal entries, general ledger reconciliations, and supporting schedules.

+ Assist in month-end and year-end closing processes.

+ Analyze financial data and prepare financial reports for review by management.

+ Perform account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.

+ Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions as needed.

+ Support audits by preparing documentation and answering inquiries.

+ Monitor financial data and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

Requirements

+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

+ Proven experience working as a Staff Accountant or in a similar role.

+ Strong understanding of GAAP and accounting principles

+ Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar platforms).

+ Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.

+ Exceptional attention to detail and analytical thinking skills.

+ Strong communication and organizational skills.
