Compensation:

+ Associate: $130K–$160K + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

+ VP: $160K–$190K + Bonus + Excellent Benefits

The Opportunity

This newly created role sits within a growing Business Technology Integration (BTI) team and plays a pivotal part in shaping the firm’s data governance strategy. You’ll work cross-functionally with business, legal, and IT leaders to define frameworks, enhance data integrity, and strengthen organizational trust through sound governance practices.

Key Responsibilities

+ Design and Implement Frameworks: Build and maintain a scalable, enterprise-wide data governance program across Microsoft 365 and key SaaS platforms.

+ Protect and Classify Data: Establish clear policies around data classification, retention, and access control to ensure secure, efficient operations.

+ Partner Cross-Functionally: Collaborate with technology, legal, and operational teams to embed governance practices into daily workflows.

+ Monitor and Improve: Develop dashboards and conduct regular audits to monitor policy adherence and mitigate data-related risks.

+ Educate and Empower: Lead training and documentation efforts that foster a culture of data awareness, responsibility, and security.

Requirements

About You

+ 7+ years of experience in data governance, data management, or information security — ideally within a confidential or regulated environment (e.g., family office, private wealth, or investment firm).

+ Skilled in developing and operationalizing governance frameworks and access control models.

+ Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Purview, Defender for Cloud, or AvePoint.

+ Strong collaborator who balances governance rigor with practical business needs.

+ Confident communicator with an analytical mindset and commitment to excellence.
