    About the Role

     

    We’re looking for an experienced and relationship-driven Sales Manager to join a leading luxury appliance showroom in Houston. This individual will play a key role in driving revenue, leading by example on the sales floor, and providing a premium customer experience for high-end homeowners, designers, and builders.

     

    The Sales Manager will oversee day-to-day sales operations, guide a team of showroom associates, and maintain relationships with vendors, contractors, and clients. This is a dynamic role suited for someone who thrives in a consultative, design-oriented environment, understands the luxury retail market, and can balance both leadership and hands-on sales responsibilities.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Lead showroom sales efforts by developing and maintaining relationships with clients, designers, and builders.

    + Deliver exceptional in-person consultations — guiding clients through premium product options and design solutions.

    + Manage, train, and motivate sales associates to achieve individual and team sales goals.

    + Maintain a deep understanding of appliance product lines, specifications, and installation requirements to effectively educate clients.

    + Oversee quotes, proposals, and follow-up communications to ensure a seamless customer experience from start to finish.

    + Partner with leadership to develop sales strategies, promotional initiatives, and process improvements.

    + Collaborate with designers, builders, and vendors to coordinate delivery timelines and resolve order issues.

    + Ensure the showroom is always presented to the highest standard — organized, clean, and visually inspiring.

    + Track performance metrics and provide reporting on sales trends, opportunities, and customer insights.

    Requirements

    Requirements

    + 7+ years of sales experience in luxury retail, design, or home improvement industries (appliance, lighting, or furniture experience preferred).

    + Proven track record of exceeding sales targets and managing customer relationships in a consultative setting.

    + Strong leadership and team coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.

    + Exceptional communication and presentation skills — able to engage confidently with designers, builders, and homeowners.

    + Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, CRM systems, and sales tracking tools.

    + Detail-oriented with strong organizational and follow-up abilities.

    + Professional demeanor with a polished, client-focused approach.

    + Availability to work full-time onsite with occasional weekend shifts as needed.
