Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk

Job Description

As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a key role in the efficient operation of our warehouse. Your main responsibilities will include receiving inbound freight, processing and shipping outbound orders, and performing light assembly. You will be using barcode scanners to ensure accuracy and efficiency in all tasks.

Responsibilities

+ Receive, process, and ship orders using barcode scanners.

+ Operate material handling machinery including pallet jacks, pallet wrappers, and scales.

+ Perform accurate data entry using multiple computer systems.

+ Maintain an organized and clean warehouse environment.

+ Engage in picking, packing, loading, and unloading of materials.

+ Ensure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and physical inventory checks.

+ Comply with quality standards and established safety procedures.

+ Participate in warehouse games and challenges.

Essential Skills

+ Ability to safely lift 50-60 lbs throughout an 8-hour shift.

+ Strong communication skills.

+ Comfortable with basic hand tools and warehouse technology.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with cherry pickers or forklifts is a plus.

+ Experience in inventory control and warehouse operations.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Charlotte, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.25 - $18.25/hr.
