    Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled CNC Machine Operator to efficiently manage CNC machines, ensuring the production of high-quality components in accordance with engineering specifications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating CNC machinery, conducting quality assurance inspections, and supporting preventive maintenance efforts.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate CNC machines efficiently, including setting up tooling, checking inserts, making offsets, and deburring finished parts.

    + Manufacture components accurately according to engineering prints and specifications.

    + Conduct quality assurance inspections to ensure parts meet required standards.

    + Accurately document quality data and production metrics for reporting and continuous improvement.

    + Support preventive maintenance efforts by performing routine checks on CNC machines and promptly informing maintenance staff of any potential issues or abnormalities to help minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.

    + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in compliance with company policies.

    + Review production schedules, prioritize tasks, and prepare equipment and materials for daily operations.

    + Conduct light corrective maintenance on machinery to address minor issues promptly.

    + Safely handle materials and components throughout the production process.

    + Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including the development and implementation of new fixturing and tooling solutions.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in operating CNC machines, including mills and lathes.

    + Ability to read and interpret engineering blueprints and specifications.

    + Experience with precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

    + Knowledge of setting offsets and performing tool changes.

    + Familiarity with Statistical Process Control (SPC) principles and ISO quality system requirements.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Competence in blueprint reading and interpretation.

    + Effective use of standard inspection tools to verify part conformity.

    + Awareness of quality and compliance standards.

    Work Environment

     

    The position is for the 2nd shift, running from 2pm to 10pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional voluntary Saturday overtime. The work environment is relaxed and not overly strict.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Elkhorn, Wisconsin.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $47840.00 - $62400.00/yr.
