    Machine Operator – Entry Level

     

    Pay:** **$20/hour

     

    Type:** **Contract-to-Hire

    We are hiring entry-level machine operators to support a busy production facility. Candidates will rotate between trimming, molding, and assembly tasks. This is a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy hands-on work and want to grow in a flexible, supportive environment.

    Job Responsibilities:

    + Use hand and power tools to trim excess plastic and drill holes for assembly

    + Operate rotational molding machines: fill with plastic pellets, run the machine, unload parts

    + Perform basic assembly of plastic components

    + Maintain a fast-paced workflow while adhering to safety standards

    + Stand, bend, twist, and lift up to 50lbs throughout the shift

    Shift Options:

    + First Shift: 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM (Monday–Thursday)

    + Second Shift: 3:45 PM – 1:45 AM (Monday–Thursday)

    + Weekend Shift: 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Saturday–Sunday)

    + _All new hires train on first shift for one week starting at 8:00 AM._

    Ideal Candidate Profile:

    + Has experience with tools or physical labor (personal or professional)

    + Comfortable working on their feet and lifting throughout the day

    + Strong attendance and communication skills

    + Mechanical aptitude is a plus

    + Candidates with 1+ year of rotational molding experience may qualify for higher starting pay

    Work Environment:

    + Fast-paced and physically active

    + Can get hot in summer months; large industrial fans help regulate temperature

    + Loud due to molding machines; casual and safety-focused dress code

    Interview Process:

    Candidates will meet with a supervisor for a brief conversation about their experience with tools or physical labor. A facility tour will follow, and the team will determine the best department fit. Offers are typically made within one day.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
