Job Title: Shipping Clerk

Job Description

Join our dynamic team at our Pittston location as a Shipping Clerk, working Monday through Friday from 5 pm to 1:30 am. This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our shipping processes and involves direct interaction with drivers and maintaining accurate records.

Responsibilities

+ Check in and out drivers efficiently.

+ Maintain detailed records of driver interactions on the daily dock schedule.

+ Respond to emails promptly and handle driver questions and inquiries.

+ Answer incoming phone calls and process transactions and workflows through the WMS system.

+ Organize and process daily paperwork in a timely manner.

+ Communicate clearly and appropriately with coworkers, customers, and truck drivers.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to type a minimum of 30 wpm

+ Proficiency in various computer programs including Microsoft Office

+ Ability to handle high-stress periods at peak hours

+ Experience with TMW, logistics/warehouse, RF gun/WMS, and SAP is preferred

Work Environment

The work environment is a warehouse/distribution setting, which is hot in the summer but temperature-controlled in the winter. Our team thrives in this energetic and collaborative space.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pittston, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $23.50 - $23.50/hr.
