Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Maintenance Technician with a strong mechanical and electrical skillset to join our team. This role involves training newly hired entry-level mechanics and ensuring the optimal functioning of all process, packaging, and building equipment.

Responsibilities

+ Troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on all process, packaging, and building equipment.

+ Perform mechanical and electrical repairs and assist in the installation of new equipment and process equipment as needed.

+ Report and repair any safety and quality issues discovered during operations.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with VFD's and gearboxes.

+ Proficiency in electrical work, particularly with 480v systems.

+ Ability to repair various types of pumps.

+ Experience with 3-phase and single-phase motors.

+ Knowledge of PLCs, with no requirement to program them.

+ Ability to bend, reach, and stand for up to 8 hours.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ 5+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic or technician.

+ 5+ years of experience performing maintenance in an industrial setting.

+ 5+ years of experience with programmable logic controllers, circuit boards, AC/DC, VFD drivers and control circuits, level sensors, flow sensors, pressure sensors, pumps, seals, bearings, solenoids, motors, motor starters, and relays.

+ Skills in welding, machining, fabricating, and full plumbing are advantageous.

Work Environment

This is a 3rd shift position, working from 10 PM to 7 AM, Monday through Friday. The role is based in a food environment that is climate-controlled and comfortable, although the facility may have a vinegar smell due to product production. Employees are required to wear shoe covers, hair/beard nets, and lab coats designed for ease of movement.

The pay range for this position is $64480.00 - $83200.00/yr.
