Job Title: Diesel Service Technician
Job Description
We’re seeking a highly motivated and experienced Heavy Duty Equipment Technician to join our service team. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of agricultural and construction machinery including tractors, combines, excavators, loaders, and more.
Responsibilities
+ Perform diagnostics and repairs on heavy equipment, including hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
+ Conduct preventative maintenance and inspections.
+ Use diagnostic tools and software to troubleshoot issues.
+ Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
+ Collaborate with service advisors and the parts department to ensure timely repairs.
+ Provide exceptional customer service and technical support.
Essential Skills
+ Proficiency in diesel, electrical, and mechanical systems.
+ Strong troubleshooting skills.
+ Experience in diesel engine repair and assembly.
+ Knowledge of hydraulics and preventive maintenance.
+ Experience in AG service tech, combine repair, and tractor repair.
+ Familiarity with heavy-duty equipment repair, engine construction, and AG equipment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 3+ years of experience in heavy equipment repair (agriculture or construction).
+ Technical diploma or certification in diesel mechanics or related field preferred.
+ Proficiency with diagnostic tools and software.
+ Strong understanding of hydraulic, electrical, and powertrain systems.
+ Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
+ Valid driver’s license; CDL is a plus.
+ Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety.

This is a permanent job around Lincoln, Nebraska.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $40.00/hr.
