Mechanical Assembler Opening

Join a dynamic team as a Mechanical Assembler, where you will play a critical role in the assembly, adjustment, and alignment of mechanical components for the erection of lifting equipment.

Responsibilities

+ Assemble, adjust, and align mechanical components for the erection of lifting equipment.

+ Perform occasional welding of fabricated parts using FCAW and SAW processes.

+ Read and interpret manufacturing plans or blueprints in both imperial and metric systems.

+ Handle and move parts, assemblies, and equipment using overhead cranes, truck lifts, or similar lifting equipment.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in industrial mechanics, electromechanical assembly, auto or heavy-duty mechanics, military machinery technician roles, or machining (including manual machining).

+ Ability to work well in a team environment.

+ Capability to successfully complete welding tests (ASME code certifications are a plus).

+ Lift and overhead crane operation certification.

+ Hands-on experience with hand and pneumatic tools, including welding equipment.

+ Experience reading and interpreting manufacturing plans or blueprints.

Work Environment

Contribute to the launch of a new manufacturing facility as part of a globally recognized group. The role is based in our Springfield facility, where you will support the fabrication of lifting equipment in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $35.00/hr.
