    Job Description

    This role involves providing warehouse support and making local deliveries to customers in a warehouse environment. The position is essential for ensuring efficient operations within the warehouse and meeting customer needs through timely deliveries.

    Responsibilities

    + Pick up and deliver all materials to customer sites in the West Portland Metro area using a 24-foot box truck, ensuring timely and efficient order drop-offs.

    + Maintain a clean vehicle and organize truck materials while following all traffic laws and using safe driving practices.

    + Interact directly with customers during order drop-offs, providing excellent customer service.

    + Lift up to 50lb boxes as part of delivery and warehouse tasks.

    + Operate a variety of machines in the warehouse, including die cutters, glue-machines, and crate building materials, to produce specialty packaging.

    + Work collaboratively with team members by asking questions, being flexible, and completing orders promptly.

    + Check and complete all documentation related to shipping materials accurately.

    + Operate an electric, sit-down forklift (training provided) and utilize basic hand tools for crating materials.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in driving, packing, inventory, and production tasks.

    + Experience with handling box trucks and packaging materials.

    + Strong material handling skills.

    + Ability to stand, lift, walk, and move for the entire shift.

    + Strong reliability and attendance.

    + Excellent customer service skills for deliveries.

    + Clean driving record and ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack.

    + Ability to work well with others, take directions, and communicate respectfully.

    The work environment is a warehouse with packaging machines, offering a clean and calm space attached to a small office. The team operates in a supportive and collaborative atmosphere, making it an enjoyable place to work. Schedule Monday - Friday 7am - 3:30pm

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
