Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

The General Production Worker will be responsible for working on the rail processing side, involving tasks such as cutting, drilling rail, and potentially packing railroad materials for shipments.

Responsibilities

+ Use a tape measure accurately, reading down to 1/16 inch.

+ Lift a minimum of 60 pounds frequently throughout the day.

+ Operate in a spark-filled environment safely.

+ Glue small metal parts onto wooden clipboards and handle packaging.

+ Operate machinery and hand tools efficiently.

+ Cut and punch drills as required in the production process.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in using a tape measure with accuracy.

+ Ability to lift and handle heavy weights of at least 60 pounds.

+ Comfort and safety consciousness in a spark-filled environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Familiarity with wearing a half-face respirator is preferred but not mandatory.

+ Basic math proficiency is advantageous.

+ Experience with forklift operation and machine handling.
