Job Title: Welder

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled welder with expertise in either MIG or TIG welding to join our team. This role offers the option of working either the 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM or the 2nd shift from 4:30 PM to 1:30 AM, located in Salem, OH.

Responsibilities

+ Perform MIG welding on Aluminum or Steel.

+ Engage in production welding and occasional fabrication shop welding.

+ Interpret and read blueprints, drawings, calipers, tape measures, and angle gauges.

+ Set up welding machines according to job specifications and welding procedures.

+ Utilize robotic welders as needed.

+ Ensure products fit according to blueprint specifications.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in MIG or TIG welding with a minimum of 3 years experience, preferably with Aluminum.

+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

+ Experience with structural steel or aluminum

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with sheet metal, stainless steel, mild steel, and production welding.

+ Knowledge of fabrication, fitting, and blueprint reading.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Salem, Ohio.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $25.00/hr.
