Job Title: Warehouse Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated warehouse worker to join our team. You will primarily be responsible for loading and unloading trucks, working closely with one other team member. The role involves operating a sit-down forklift for most of your shift, although you will occasionally need to perform various tasks outside the forklift.

Responsibilities

+ Operate a sit-down forklift for the majority of the shift.

+ Load and unload trucks efficiently and safely.

+ Perform occasional inventory work as required.

+ Collaborate with one other team member to ensure smooth operations.

Essential Skills

+ Previous experience operating a sit-down forklift.

+ Prior warehouse experience, particularly in loading and unloading trucks.

+ Ability to stay focused and complete tasks efficiently.

Work Environment

The position is part of a food production environment with shift times from 2 PM to 10 PM, Monday through Friday. Please note that the facility can become hot during the summer due to the production process and lack of climate control. The dress code requires closed-toed shoes and long work pants. The company provides hair nets, safety glasses, gloves, and face masks. Employees must follow Good Manufacturing Practices and avoid wearing nail polish or glitter on clothing.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Thomasville, Pennsylvania.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.30 - $20.30/hr.
