    Job Title: Production Supervisor

    Job Description

    The Production Supervisor will manage small work teams in a dynamic, high-volume, unionized manufacturing environment. This role focuses on ensuring team safety, building and training teams, allocating manpower, and implementing continuous improvement solutions. The goal is to enhance product quality, meet throughput and cost targets, and boost team morale.

    Responsibilities

    + Coordinate all activities to achieve business metrics and implement production processes and initiatives.

    + Ensure the production plan is met by analyzing issues and driving continuous improvement activities.

    + Lead the team in improving safety and enforcing the use of mandated safety tools and procedures.

    + Understand losses during the shift and use the C-Matrix to coordinate activities and improve performance.

    + Analyze quality KPIs, prioritize quality issues, and guide team leaders effectively.

    Essential Skills

    + Production supervision experience

    + Ability to work any shift and handle overtime as required

    + Excellent organizational, written, and oral communication skills

    + Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with all levels of employees

    + Capability to build effective business relationships

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office

    + Must possess a valid driver's license

    + High school diploma or GED

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Bachelor's degree in a technical field

    + 2+ years of supervisory experience in a high-volume environment

    + Experience in a unionized environment

    + Knowledge of continuous improvement systems and lean manufacturing

    + Proficiency in Google Suite software programs

    This role requires 100% onsite presence in a fast-paced, unionized manufacturing setting. Flexibility to work various shifts and handle overtime is essential.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract position based out of Toledo, Ohio.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $29.89 - $32.75/hr.
