    Job Title: Grinder Operator

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Grinder Operator to perform precision grinding of component pieces to ensure they conform to blueprints and drawings. The role offers both AM and PM shifts with optional overtime available on weekends.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate the machine after it has been set up and verified by the supervisor.

    + Verify tolerances by inspecting the first five pieces, then present them to an inspector for final inspection.

    + Report any variances to the supervisor.

    + Once pieces pass inspection, continue running the job according to blueprint and drawing specifications.

    + Deliver completed orders to the shipping department.

    + Maintain a clean and organized work environment.

    + Comply with all safety and sanitation regulations.

    + Use all required and instructed Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

    + Perform other duties as assigned.

    + Use hand and power tools efficiently.

    + Lift 35-50 lbs. repetitively.

    Essential Skills

    + 1+ year of machine operating experience.

    + Ability to lift 50 lbs.

    + Experience in production and general labor.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Basic computer skills.

    + Ability to communicate effectively in English.

    + Accurate counting of parts.

    + Attention to detail.

    + Ability to operate material handling machinery.

    + Capability to follow written and verbal directions in English.

    + Proactive with the ability to take initiative.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
