Job Title: Order Picker

Job Description

The Order Picker role ensures that all orders are accurately picked, undergo a quality assurance process, packaged, and shipped. This role is responsible for assuring that orders have been accurately fulfilled before boxes are shipped out, reviewing packing slips, and comparing package contents to ensure accuracy.

Responsibilities

+ Review pack lists to ensure that contents of each order are properly included in each package.

+ Weigh, count, and visually inspect materials, and verify part numbers on supplies, materials, and equipment for accuracy.

+ Determine the appropriate conveyor system by scanning packages, reading labels and charts, verifying numbers, and memorizing information to sort packages accordingly.

+ Pack boxes using various shipping materials and ensure proper labeling and postage is included with each shipment.

+ Maintain the levels of shipping materials and notify the appropriate party when supplies are low.

+ Manage packaging inventory, including boxing up and sealing materials to be sent.

+ Utilize an online exceptions management system to communicate with clients.

+ Collaborate with other fulfillment departments to ensure all eligible packages are sent out.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with QA and RF Scanner

+ Quality assurance skills

+ Warehouse packing experience

+ 1 year of experience in a quality inspection department for an electronics company

+ 1 year of shipping experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience in packaging

+ Ability to operate an RF Scanner

Work Environment

The work environment involves repairing and refurbishing ATM checkout swipe machines. The team comprises 20 employees working across five different departments to inspect and repair machines before returning them to stores. The work hours are from 10 AM, and the facility supports a collaborative and supportive atmosphere.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, California.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.50/hr.
