    Job Title: Maintenance Technician - Night Shift

    Job Description

    Join a dynamic team as a Maintenance Technician, responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of food production equipment. This role requires expertise in mechanical and electrical repairs and will involve working during the night shift from 10 PM to 6 AM.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform mechanical and electrical repairs on food production equipment.

    + Provide emergency and unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production.

    + Conduct scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.

    + Prepare and set up machinery for scheduled production runs.

    + Utilize mechanic skills including mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair of packaging and production machines.

    + Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.

    + Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test, and make adjustments.

    + Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and plant facilities.

    + Execute a variety of plumbing maintenance and electrical functions.

    + Use various hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment in performing duties.

    + Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision.

    + Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.

    + Perform other duties as assigned or needed.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of experience in mechanical and electrical troubleshooting.

    + 3+ years of experience in preventive maintenance.

    + 3+ years of experience in blueprint reading, hydraulics, pneumatics, and welding.

    + Ability to troubleshoot, and interpret blueprints, electrical, and mechanical repair.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + High School Diploma or GED required.

    + 5 years of maintenance experience in a high-speed production environment required.

    Work in a GMP food manufacturing company with refrigerated areas maintained at 30-40 degrees. The facility is equipped to support high volume production and international shipping, providing a challenging yet rewarding work environment.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $58240.00 - $72800.00/yr.
