Maintenance Engineer
Job Description
The Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for maintaining and improving the efficiency of manufacturing equipment, with a focus on electrical and mechanical systems. This role involves a variety of tasks including PLC troubleshooting, equipment controls, and preventative maintenance.
Responsibilities
+ Balance tasks with a 70/30 focus on electrical versus mechanical systems.
+ Troubleshoot and repair PLCs, vision systems, filling machines, leak testers, palletizers, conveyors, and industrial scales.
+ Perform preventative maintenance and related documentation according to procedures.
+ Manage secondary equipment such as pneumatics, hydraulics, motors, conveyors, pumps, gears, and gearboxes.
+ Conduct electrical troubleshooting of motor controls, starters, and systems ranging from 110v to 480v single and three phase.
+ Maintain and program industrial robotics and perform troubleshooting, system analysis, and repair of electro-mechanical equipment.
+ Rebuild and maintain equipment for high production output.
+ Execute repairs and maintenance of utility, electrical, and mechanical systems as required.
+ Act as an informal team leader, providing assistance and guidance to other technicians.
+ Observe, evaluate, and suggest operational or design changes to improve efficiency and maintain quality assurance standards.
Essential Skills
+ Troubleshooting and repair skills in electrical and mechanical systems.
+ Experience with PLC troubleshooting and equipment controls.
+ Ability to perform preventative maintenance and document procedures.
+ Familiarity with motor controls and electrical systems up to 480v.
+ Proficiency in reading ladder logic and wiring motors.
+ 4+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
+ High school diploma or GED.
+ Ownership of personal tools.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $34.00 - $34.00/hr.
