    Job Title: Operator/Laborer – Environmental Response

    **Location:** Based in Arvada, CO | Supporting Projects in Boulder & Denver Metro

    About the Role

     

    We are seeking a dependable and skilled Operator/Laborer to join our environmental response team. This role involves a combination of equipment operation and manual labor, supporting critical fieldwork such as concrete removal, soil excavation, and hazardous material handling. You’ll work with machinery including mini excavators, skid steers, and loaders, while also assisting with hands-on remediation tasks. The ideal candidate is adaptable, safety-focused, and thrives in dynamic outdoor environments.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Support environmental emergency response, site remediation, and facility cleanup projects throughout the Denver Metro area

    + Operate heavy equipment including skid steers, mini excavators, and loaders

    + Perform manual labor tasks such as soil excavation and concrete removal

    + Decontaminate tools, vehicles, and work sites to ensure safety and compliance

    + Assist with hazardous waste packaging, transport preparation, and disposal

    + Respond to emergency spills using specialized equipment, including Vac trucks

    + Maintain accurate daily documentation of materials handled and equipment used

    Qualifications

    + 3–5 years of construction or general labor experience

    + Proficiency in operating heavy equipment

    + CDL B license or willingness to obtain

    + Reliable transportation

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + Comfortable working outdoors in varying conditions

    Work Environment

    + Monday through Friday schedule

    + Daily meet-up at our Arvada shop before traveling to job sites

    + Occasional out-of-town travel required (typically a few days at a time)

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $28.00/hr.
