Job Title: Maintenance Manager

Job Description

As a Maintenance Manager, you will drive a zero-incident safety culture by collaborating with key stakeholders including the Plant Manager, HR, Safety Committee, and the Maintenance team. You will implement and manage a preventive maintenance schedule, prioritizing critical equipment, and ensure accurate documentation of maintenance activities and equipment warranties. Your role will also involve managing emergency and unscheduled maintenance with timely follow-up and ensuring compliance with federal, state, and OSHA regulations for facilities and equipment. Additionally, you will develop and oversee the department's budget and lead training, certification, and professional development for Maintenance staff.

Responsibilities

+ Collaborate with Plant Manager, HR, Safety Committee, and Maintenance to promote a zero-incident safety culture.

+ Implement and manage a preventive maintenance schedule, prioritizing critical equipment.

+ Ensure accurate documentation of maintenance activities and equipment warranties.

+ Manage emergency and unscheduled maintenance with timely follow-up.

+ Ensure compliance with federal, state, and OSHA regulations for facilities and equipment.

+ Develop and oversee the department's budget.

+ Lead training, certification, and professional development for Maintenance staff.

Essential Skills

+ Proficiency in hydraulics, pneumatics, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, electrical troubleshooting, and schematic reading.

+ Experience with motors and metal fabrication manufacturing equipment.

+ Minimum of seven years of experience in maintenance.

+ NEED experience working with metal fabrication and welding equipment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience or degree in a Technical/Mechanical field is preferred.

+ 5+ years of expertise in HVAC, electric, or plumbing systems.

Work Environment

The work environment consists of a large equipment manufacturing shop that operates from 5:00am to 5:30pm, Monday through Friday, and on Saturdays from 5:00am to 11:00am. Standard working hours are from 6:00am to 2:30pm, with current staff working 50 to 55 hours due to high demand. The company aims to reduce hours by hiring more personnel.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
