    Job Title: Production Worker

    Job Description

    We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Production Worker to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for rebuilding valves for tanks that will eventually be filled with chlorine, similar to the valves found on propane tanks. You will operate equipment to pressurize the valves onto tanks, complete pallets of tanks, fill them with chlorine, and manage the cleaning and labeling process. This position involves a significant amount of manual labor with some forklift operation.

    Responsibilities

    + Rebuild valves for tanks used for chlorine storage.

    + Operate equipment to pressurize valves onto tanks.

    + Fill tanks with chlorine and ensure proper bagging and tagging.

    + Clean, prep, and remove old labels from tanks.

    + Utilize a sit-down forklift for moving products and loading/unloading trucks.

    Essential Skills

    + 3+ years of experience working in a production environment, preferably GMP regulated.

    + 1+ year of forklift experience preferred.

    + Ability to read a tape measure.

    + Strong ability to follow instructions and take orders.

    + Safety-oriented mindset.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in staging, bagging, tagging, chemical handling, labeling, and shipping.

    + General labor experience in a warehouse or production setting.

    Work Environment

     

    This role is within a chemical environment that may smell of ammonia or chlorine. Protective gear, including face shields, glasses, and full rubber suits, is provided when handling chemicals. Core working hours are Monday through Friday, 7:00 am to 3:00 pm, with opportunities for overtime. While the environment may be dirty due to the nature of the work, it is maintained to be as clean as possible.

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Rosemount, Minnesota.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $25.00/hr.
