Job Title: Machine Operator
Job Description
We are seeking skilled Machine Operators for multiple roles, including Slitter, Drawer Operator, Melter, Rolling Mill Operator, and Finish Rolling Mill Operator. Each role is integral to our production process, involving the operation of specialized equipment to ensure high-quality output according to specifications.
Responsibilities
+ Slitter: Perform intermediate and finish slitting operations, set up cutters, and ensure materials meet order specifications.
+ Drawer Operator: Operate wire drawing equipment, draw wires to meet customer specifications, and maintain cleanliness of work areas.
+ Melter: Set up and operate casting furnaces for precious metal alloys, control pouring processes, and maintain equipment quality.
+ Rolling Mill Operator: Set up and operate precision rolling mills, adjust equipment as needed, and ensure thickness specifications are met.
+ Finish Rolling Mill Operator: Set up and operate precision 2-high, 4-high rolling mills, change rolls as needed, and perform preventative maintenance.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in machine operation and production processes.
+ Proficiency with hand tools, micrometers, and related measuring tools.
+ Mechanical and logical thinking for simple maintenance and repairs.
+ Attention to detail and ability to follow written instructions.
+ Ability to read, write, and speak English.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ High school diploma or GED required.
+ Previous experience in rolling or machine operation preferred, but not required.

Work Environment
Operators will work in a fast-paced production setting with moderate to loud noise levels. The role requires standing for prolonged periods and frequent lifting of weights between 10 lbs. and 70 lbs. Compliance with all PPE requirements is mandatory.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $28.00/hr.
