    Job Title: Metal Finisher

    Job Description

    We are seeking dedicated Metal Finishers to join our team in a sheet metal shop. This role involves lifting, sanding, and grinding tasks, with an opportunity to advance into a highly skilled grinder position as our top grinders are retiring.

    Responsibilities

    + Perform metal finishing, including lifting, sanding, and grinding tasks.

    + Operate hand and power tools to fabricate and finish sheet metal.

    + Move materials and use grinders for most of the day.

    + Maintain a clean and organized work area.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in labor, manufacturing, or production environments.

    + Proficient in sanding, grinding, and metal finishing.

    + Ability to work with sheet metal and operate hand and power tools.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Must wear steel-toed boots for safety.

    + Experience in a metal fabrication shop is advantageous.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a large sheet metal shop, known for its great company culture. The facility is local and offers a dirtier area of the shop, suitable for those who enjoy hands-on, practical work. The night shift runs from 3:30 pm to 2:00 am, Monday through Thursday, with a 10% shift differential offered.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of North Salt Lake, Utah.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $20.00/hr.
