Job Title: Maintenance Technician
Job Description
As a Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and ensuring the efficient operation of material handling equipment, including conveyors. This role requires a proactive approach to performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs.
Responsibilities
+ Install, inspect, repair, and maintain material handling equipment, such as conveyors.
+ Complete preventative maintenance routines, documentation, and procedures.
+ Perform battery changes and preventive maintenance on batteries.
+ Enter downtime data in daily log and complete preventative maintenance sheets.
+ Have basic knowledge of electrical components and troubleshoot equipment issues.
+ Track and store department inventory, including spare parts.
Essential Skills
+ Industrial maintenance
+ Equipment maintenance and diagnostic testing
+ Mechanical troubleshooting
+ Preventative maintenance
+ Knowledge of lockout, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, schematics, and motors
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ At least 6 months experience in equipment maintenance within the last 2 years.
+ Experience in Distribution, Logistics, Manufacturing, or Industrial industries preferred.
+ Secondary experience in Automotive, Military, or Industrial Facilities Maintenance is a plus.
+ Associate degree from a technical school or equivalent certifications and training related to maintenance.

Work Environment
Work in a large distribution facility equipped with high-speed automation and robotic components. Be prepared to walk 10,000 steps per day and have your performance tracked by data and numbers. All candidates must be open to working any 10-hour shift, as positions are available across all shifts.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Jacksonville, Florida.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $23.00 - $26.00/hr.
