Job Title: QC Technician
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated QC Technician to join our team. The role involves conducting various internal audits and ensuring adherence to quality standards in our manufacturing processes.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct internal audits of 'ready to close' units that have just been packaged, including all products categorized as such.
+ Perform internal audits on work-in-progress products, encompassing all items on open work orders.
+ Execute internal process audits to ensure compliance with GDP, GMP, and proper SOP.
+ Audit technician desks for line clearance, ensuring adherence to 5S, GMP, and GDP standards.
+ Conduct audits of the manufacturing floor, focusing on compliance with 5S and GMP.
+ Draft and issue Non-Conformance Reports when non-conformances are identified.
+ Update the QC Internal Audit Failure log regularly.
+ Act as the point-of-contact for quality checks during incoming inspections.
+ Serve as the point-of-contact for technicians and leads on quality-related issues in production.
+ Assist the buyer with rejecting vendor-related product defects.
+ Undertake other responsibilities to improve processes and support continuous growth.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in a manufacturing environment.
+ Proficiency with quality control and inspection processes.
+ Knowledge of GDP, GMP, and 5S methodologies.
+ Familiarity with PCBs, electrical equipment, and wiring.
+ Understanding of Kanban systems.

+ Experience working with PCBs, electrical equipment, and wire.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Alameda, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
